2015 OC Restaurant Week Dinner Menu $40


Salmon Tartar: 4 stars
Salmon & dill was very fresh in this dish & presentation was very nice for this dish but it needed more sauce/dressing on the salmon. Putting the salmon on top of the peppercorn lavosh made it dry.


Petrale Sole Meuniere: 1 star
This was such an overly salty dish that I add to ask for a lemon to squeeze the juice on top to cut the saltiness of the fish.

There were no lump crab but instead only mashed potatoes as sides on this dish. I was looking forward to enjoying this dish but yet this was the most disappointing dish of the night. =(


Cornish Hen: 4 stars
This hen was very tasty & had tender meat which complimented the delicious glazing that this hen was drenched in.  


Ginger Pear Crisp: 4 stars
The pears were nicely baked & covered with maple pecan crumble & drizzled with honey. This came with a side of ice cream which nicely complimented this dessert. Yummy


Olive Oil Pine Nut Cake: 1 star
The fig chutney completely overwhelmed this cake & its sides were burnt. This was also a disappointment of the night.


White Chocolate Macadamia Bread Pudding: 4 stars

This was a complimentary birthday celebration cake but is also on the regular menu, this cake was so moist, soft & delicious that it just melted in my mouth. The pineapple ice cream perfectly complimented this cake.  

Service: A+
Attentive & they even brought out a very delicious complimentary birthday celebration cake without me having to ask for it because I had put this on the RSVP on my open table booking.

Overall: 4 stars 4-out-of-5-stars1

This was a great experience overall but the Petrale Sole Meuniere was a huge let down because it was extremely salty. The Olive Oil Pine Nut Cake was burnt and was drowning in fig chutney.
