2015 OC Restaurant Week Lunch Menu $15
Lobster Cappuccino: 4.5 stars
Not overly salty which I like because most places make it way too salty which isn’t good for your health. There was small pieces of lobster in this bisque. I did not taste any of the brandy cream that was supposed to be in here, I guess it’s very light.
CCs Planked Salmon: 4.5 stars
Salmon was moist & well done but the glaze tasted too much like soy sauce & salty instead of maple soy glaze. The whole grain mashed mustard potatoes was delicious because the mustard seeds gave the mashed potatoes a nice mustard after taste.
Coconut Supreme Cake: 4.5 stars
I’m glad that they make all their desserts in house because this cake was very moist and the coconut flakes was very fresh. If you like coconut then you’ll love
this cake. The vanilla bean ice cream was good with flecks of vanilla beans.
Lemon Tart: 3 stars
Very tart taste but the top layer of this dessert was too thick & sugary. Only if they made the crust thinner & fluffier.
Service : B+
Attentive & nice service but she forgot to bring out the complimentary birthday ice cream & brownie.
Overall: 4.5 stars
I really enjoyed this OC Restaurant Week, I will definitely come back to this restaurant to try the regular menu. I wish that other restaurants would follow & make it a good experience for customers also.
