Last week I had the opportunity to attend OC Weekly’s annual event, Artopia which celebrates Orange County’s art scene that varies from visual to performing paired with booths of food & liberation from various restaurants & companies.
20 local artists were chosen by OC Weekly staff and readers to exhibit their work during this event.
Boathouse Collective, a multimedia venue showcasing flavorful foods, creative cocktails, art shows, music performances and special events in Costa Mesa, was in attendance with their samples of delightful desserts.
Tatratea’s booth showcased their delicious fine tea infused alcohol drinks.
Lucky 13 Sweet & Treats offered delicious fresh baked goods which included cookies, brownies, cake balls, cupcakes.
Michael Ong specializies in spray paint and acrylic; he was influenced by anime and this is shown in this paintings.
Paul Ortega Designs showcased his paintings and also did a live art show of his art work.
Vincent Quinn is an abstract artist which works with a vivid flow of colors & shapes.
Samuel Pak featured his oil paintings as he pursues his new transition into the art world in becoming a professional artist.
The artist, Kara Lacey shows her passion in wearable art with feathers and leather.
Paul Anderson specializes in portraits and showcases his work that he has done of his family.
Christopher Allwine specializes in night photography with interesting landscape backdrops which make his work an amazing visual collection to be seen.
